Averaged 26 points, 5.0 steals and 3.0 rebounds last week for the Lady Pirates. She poured in a career high 34 points on 12-of-20 shooting, seven steals, six rebounds and three assists in the Lady Pirates 88-63 victory over Winthrop on senior day at the Convocation Center. Her seven steals gave her 122 on the season and broke a 31-year Big South Conference record for steals in a season. The Lady Pirates finish the regular season 16-13 and are the third seed in the Big South Tournament, their first season in the conference.

Bates leads the Big South in scoring (17.8), leads conference and is third in the country in steals (4.4) and is third in field goal percentage (.470).
