Lane Running Back Ike Brown 5-10, 226, Sophomore, Shreveport, La. Accumulated 137 yards of total offense on 20 touches and accounted for three scores in the Dragons 28-27 upset overtime win over Tennessee State. He scored on an 11-yard run in overtime and ran in the two-point conversion to win the game for the Dragons.

HBCU National Player of the Week: Nyles Gaddy
Jackson State Linebacker Nyles Gaddy 6-4, 230, Redshirt-Sophomore, Nashville, Tenn. Recorded four sacks and 4.5 tackles for loss for the Tigers who defeated Tennessee State 16-3. The JSU Tigers allowed the TSU Tigers just 140 yards of total offense. Gaddy originally signed with the University of Tennessee before transferring to Jackson State in 2021. In
