HBCU National Player of the Week: Nyles Gaddy
Jackson State Linebacker Nyles Gaddy 6-4, 230, Redshirt-Sophomore, Nashville, Tenn. Recorded four sacks and 4.5 tackles for loss for the Tigers who defeated Tennessee State 16-3. The JSU Tigers allowed the TSU Tigers just 140 yards of total offense. Gaddy originally signed with the University of Tennessee before transferring to Jackson State in 2021. In

Jackson State Quarterback Shedeur Sanders 6-2, 215, Sophomore, Canton, Texas Completed 29-of-33 passes for 323 yards with five touchdowns and no interceptions in the Tigers’ 59-3 victory over Florida A&M.
