Jackson State Quarterback Jalen Jones 6-4, 220, Sophomore, Richmond, Va. Completed 14-of-27 passes for 250 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions and rushed for 42 yards and a touchdown as the Tigers defeated Mississippi Valley State 43-7. On the season Jones has completed 67 percent of his passes for 593 yards, has thrown eight touchdowns
Jackson State Linebacker Aubrey Miller, Jr. 6-2, 225, Junior, Memphis, Tenn. Registered 18 tackles (10 solo), a tackle for loss and a forced fumble in the Tigers’ 33-28 victory over Grambling. He forced the fumble as GSU was driving late in the game and had the ball 2nd and goal from the JSU 1. The
