For the second time this year a player has been named HBCU National Player of the Week, again. North Carolina Central quarterback Davius Richard, a graduate student from Belle Glade, Fla., wins the award after completing 19-of-21 passes for 386 yards, with five passing touchdowns and no interceptions, and rushed for another 35 yards on five carries and a rushing touchdown as the Eagles defeated Delaware State 55-14. The Eagles locked up an at-large FCS Playoff berth.

Richard now has 10,704 yards of total offense on the season for his career with 113 total touchdowns.
