Alabama A&M running back Donovan Eaglin has been named HBCU National Player of the Week. Eaglin, a sophomore from Houston, Texas, carried the ball 27 times for 207 yards and two touchdowns and caught a pass for 11 yards as the Bulldogs defeated Mississippi Valley State 30-21.
Eaglin transferred in from Michigan State and is in his second year in the AAMU program. He has rushed for 1,638 yards and 13 touchdowns in his Bulldog career.
