[/insert_php]The results from week seven produced only minor changes in the BOXTOROW Coaches and Media Polls.
North Carolina A&T remained at the top of the coaches poll as it has all season long receiving all of the first-place votes after defeating Bethune-Cookman 52-37 in Daytona Beach on Saturday. Texas Southern dropped three spots to No. 10 after falling to Alcorn State 23-20. The Braves moved up a spot to No. 8.
Hampton moved back into the poll at No. 9, dropping Morgan State out of the poll after the Pirates defeated the Bears 21-12.
Another head-to-head matchup had an affect on the media poll as Bowie State knocked off Virginia State 38-37. The win knocked the Trojans out of the poll, while the Bulldogs enter the poll for the first time this year at No. 9. Furthermore, BSU has sole possession of the CIAA Northern Division.
The BOXTOROW HBCU FCS coaches poll and the media poll are administered by FROM THE PRESS BOX TO PRESS ROW. The coaches poll is voted on by the HBCU Football Championship Subdivision coaches and the media poll is voted on by media members around the country who cover HBCU football.
