Southern cornerback Danny Johnson has been doubted all of his career because of his 5’9″ size.
But the former student-athlete who graduated with a 4.0 GPA in three and a half years has continued to prove doubters wrong. As a four-year starter, Johnson had 16 interceptions. He went up against the best wide receivers in the SWAC including Grambling wide outs Chad Williams (third round pick by Arizona last year) and Chester Rogers, who is becoming an integral part of the Indianapolis Colts offense. Johnson also participated in the NFL Combine as well as the Senior Bowl.
Johnson sat down with BOXTOROW host Donal Ware to talk about the upcoming draft.
