Tuskegee Golden Tiger forward Ashiala Jackson is HBCU National Player of the Week. She averaged 16.5 points, 15.5 rebounds, 3.0 steals while shooting 47 percent (14-of-30) from the field in helping the Golden Tigers go 2-0 this week. In the victory over Miles (1/28), Jackson scored 22 points, grabbed 20 rebounds, had three steals and made 10-of-19 shots from the field.

Jackson has helped lead the Golden Tigers to a 14-0 SIAC record and first place in the Western Division. She is at the top of the conference in rebounds (9.9 rpg), top 10 in the conference in points per game (13.8), and has recorded eight double doubles.
