Completed 29-of-33 passes for 323 yards with five touchdowns and no interceptions in the Tigers’ 59-3 victory over Florida A&M. Sanders also rushed for 17 yards.

Sanders is a former four-star recruit. He was the BOXTOROW National Rookie of the Year and a preseason BOXTOROW All-American. He is the son of Jackson State coach and Pro Football Hall of Famer Deion Sanders.
