Eagles’ guard Justin Wright is HBCU National Player of the Week. He averaged 21.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and was perfect from the free throw line (8-for-8) in two wins for the Eagles last week. In the 68-60 win over first place Howard (2/25), Wright scored 24 points and grabbed six rebounds.

Wright was a first team BOXTOROW All-American last season. He is averaging 15.9 points per game, but in the last five games for the surging Eagles who have won five-straight, he is averaging 16.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, and is shooting 54 percent from the field.
