Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions’ center Maori Davenport is HBCU National Player of the Week. She averaged 17.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 3.0 blocks per game, and shot 80 percent from the field (12-of-15) in two wins for the Golden Lions. In the victory over Texas Southern (2/20), she scored a season high 22 points, grabbed nine rebounds, blocked six shots, and had two steals.
