The national sports talk show FROM THE PRESS BOX TO PRESS ROW will hold its first annual HBCU/college football preview show Saturday, July 26, at 11 a.m. live from the Buffalo Wild Wings in Holly Springs, NC, 121 Grand Hill Place, Holly Springs.
The event will include Shaw head coach Robert Massey, Fayetteville State head coach Lawrence Kershaw and Saint Augustine’s head coach Michael Costa and will be hosted by BOXTOROW national radio host Donal Ware. The event is open to the public. Fans in attendance will have an opportunity to ask the coaches questions.
The event will air on WAUG-AM 750 in Raleigh and will be streamed here.
FROM THE PRESS BOX TO PRESS ROW w/ Donal Ware is a versatile sports talk show. At times, Ware has entertainers as guests who come on the show to talk sports. More recently, Darius Rucker and Jill Scott have been guests on the show. Other celebrities have included Kevin Hart, Joss Stone, Snoop Lion, and Gladys Knight, to name a very few.
BOXTOROW as it is known airs on radio stations across the country including in the Triangle on WAUG-AM 750 Saturdays 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. and on The Buzz 620-AM/99.3-FM/99.9 HD2 also on Saturdays from 6 – 7 a.m. Beginning August 2 the show will air from 7 – 8 a.m. Saturdays on The Buzz.
The above mentioned coaches have all appeared as guests on the show over the almost nine years BOXTOROW has been on the air.
Reining NBA Most Valuable Player Kevin Durant, tennis superstar Serena Williams, New York Jets quarterback Michael Vick, Raleigh native and Washington-Wizards All-Star guard John Wall, Saint Augustine’s track and field coach George Williams, Mike Tyson, and Duke men’s basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski have all appeared as guests.
BOXTOROW has broadcast from or covered events such as NBA Finals, NBA All-Star Weekends, The Big Game, CIAA Tournament, NHL All-Star Games, MLB All-Star Games, and the U.S. Open to name a few.
