With her hometown of Charlotte as the backdrop, McNeill had a record-setting CIAA Tournament in leading the Lady Panthers to their third CIAA Tournament championship in four years. She averaged 44.7 points, 2.0 steals, 2.7 rebounds, shot 62 percent from three-point range and 55 percent from the field. She scored a CIAA Tournament record 59 points, including 14-of-20 from three-point range in the Lady Panthers victory over Livingstone.
Her 135 points during the tournament broke the previous mark of 123 points, held by Jacqueline Pinnix of North Carolina Central in 1984.
This is McNeill’s second BOXTOROW Player of the Week award. McNeill leads the CIAA in scoring (24.9).
