Intercepted two passes, both in the fourth quarter as the Tigers heled on to defeat Savannah State 21-14 on the road. His first interception led to a Tigers’ touchdown drive that put TU up 21-7. His second pick thwarted a potential game-tying drive by SSU with 1:13 remaining, deep in TU’s zone.
King leads the SIAC and is tied for second in the country in interceptions (6) and leads the SIAC and is tied for ninth in the country in passes defended (12). He came to Tuskegee from local Booker T. Washington.
