Media Poll Week 12

The HBCU Polls: Jackson State unanimous No. 1 in HBCU football, losses cause shifts in polls

Big games this past Saturday caused shifts in the BOXTOROW Coaches and Media Polls, but Jackson State defeated Campbell and remains No. 1 in HBCU football, receiving all of the first place votes in both polls

In the coaches poll, North Carolina Central fell to South Carolina State and fell two spots to No. 4 this week. SCSU raised three spots to No. 7. Alabama State reentered the poll at No. 8, while Texas Southern entered the poll for the first time this season, tied at No. 10 with Alabama A&M who also reentered the poll.

Speaking of reentries, South Carolina State reentered the media poll at No. 9, while Tuskegee entered the poll for the first time this year at No. 10.

The HBCU FCS coaches and media polls are administered by BOXTOROW. The coaches poll, in its 13th year is voted on by the HBCU Football Championship Subdivision coaches and the media poll, in its 15th year, is voted on by media members around the country who cover HBCU football.
