BOXTOROW National Player of the Week: Tabyus Taylor
Virginia Union Running Back Tabyus Taylor 6-0, 225, Junior, Hopewell, Va. Taylor carried the ball 25 times for for 159 yards, caught two passes for 38 yards and returned a kickoff 58 yards in the Panthers 36-17 victory over Hampton. Taylor registered 255 multi-purpose yards in the game. Taylor played quarterback at Hopewell High School

BOXTOROW Poll: Coaches unanimous, media split as A&T remains No. 1 in HBCU football
boxtorow.com Despite its loss to FBS Duke, North Carolina A&T remains No.1 in the BOXTOROW Coaches and Media Polls. In the coaches poll al votes went to the Aggies who distanced No.2 Bethune-Cookman by 31 points. As a matter of fact, the top six teams remained the same with Alcorn State, Southern, and South Carolina
