BOXTOROW announces its All-Americans for the 2020-21 Division I women’s basketball season.

North Carolina A&T guard/forward Chanin Scott and Jackson State center Ameshya Williams were named BOXTOROW National Co-Players of the Year. Scott was the only player in the MEAC in the top 10 in points (3rd), rebounds (5th), assists (4th), field goal percentage (3rd), and steals (2nd). Scott averaged 14.3 points, 8.6 rebounds, 3.5 assists. 2.3 steals per game, and shot 46 percent from the field, in helping lead the Lady Aggies to the MEAC Tournament championship, a 14-3 overall record, and an appearance in the NCAA Tournament. Williams is fifth in the country in blocked shots per game (3.2). She averaged 15.7 points and 12.0 rebounds per game, and shot 57 percent from the field.

Jackson State head coach Tomekia Reed was named BOXTOROW Coach of the Year. In her 3rd season at the helm, she led the Tigers to an 18-6 record, the third straight winning season for the JSU women’s program. The Tigers also won the SWAC Tournament championship and made an appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
