The Bowie State Bulldogs finished 2017 with a 9-2 record and hosted a first round NCAA Division II Playoff game against Delta State. The Bulldogs had the top offense in the country averaging more than 566 yards per game. They were led by BOXTOROW Offensive Player of the Year, quarterback Amir Hall who completed 65 percent of his passes for 3,519 yards, with 41 touchdowns and just for interceptions, while also rushing for 414 yards and four touchdowns.
