Seventh year Grambling head coach Broderick Fobbs is quick to remind one that the Tigers, during his tenure, have one two SWAC championships and an HBCU national championship. 2016 was the last year for both and while the Tigers have been competitive, it has not won a SWAC championship in three years. With a veteran quarterback in Geremy Hickbottom returning as well as some key pieces from the 2019 team that went 6-5, Fobbs likes his chances in the short 2021 spring season.
