With conference tournaments wrapped up and NCAA Regional play set to begin this week, the 15th annual Division II HBCU All-America teams powered by BOXTOROW are released.

West Virginia State guard/forward Anthony Pittman has been named HBCU Division II Player of the Year. The senior from Charleston, W. Va., helped lead the Yellow Jackets to 20-9 record and a semi-finals finish in the Mountain East Conference Tournament and a berth in the NCAA Division II Regional tournament. He was named first team All-MEC and leads the conference in rebounding (8.1), steals (2.2, also top 15 in the nation), is second in scoring (18.7), fifth in field goal percentage (.484), eighth in free throw percentage (.824), and 10th in assists (2.9).

Clark Atlanta head coach Alfred Jordan has been named HBCU Division II Coach of the Year. In his second season as the head coach of the Panthers, he led them to the SIAC Tournament championship and Eastern Division regular season crown. The Panthers are 25-5 and earned a No. 6 seed in the NCAA Division II Regional tournament. The Panthers have won 17 more games than last year which is one of the biggest turnarounds from last year in the country.
