Averaged 21.5 points, 3.5 assists, 4.5 steals, and 4.0 rebounds, while shooting 61 percent from the field and 46 percent from from three-point range in two victories for the Spartans last week. In the Spartans’ victory over Delaware State (1/6), she scored 28 points, had a season high eight steals, dished out six assists, and grabbed five rebounds. She also made 11-of-18 field goals.

Johnson leads the MEAC and is in the top 50 in Division I in scoring (18.3), leads the MEAC and is fourth in Division I in steals, is second in the MEAC in assists (4.1), is fourth in the MEAC in field goal percentage (.446), and is eighth in the conference in rebounding (5.7). The Spartans are ranked No. 8 in the College Insider Women’s Mid Major Top 25 Poll. Johnson is the reining BOXTOROW HBCU Impact Player of the Year and is a first team HBCU All-American. She transferred to Norfolk State from NC state two years ago where she was second team All-ACC.
