With only two games being played in Week 14 and with Alcorn State defeating Southern in the SWAC championship game, there were no changes in position in the BOXTOROW Coaches and Media Polls.

Alcorn State’s win over Southern sets up a rematch of the very first Celebration Bowl as the Braves will face MEAC champion North Carolina A&T. The Braves will be looking for their first Celebration Bowl victory, while the Aggies will be looking for their third.

North Carolina A&T and Alcorn State are No. 1 and No. 2, respectively in the polls. Despite the loss, Southern held on to its No. 3 ranking.

For the fourth year, the Celebration Bowl will determine the HBCU national champion and will take place Saturday, December 15 in Atlanta at Mercedes-Benz Stadium and will once again kick off the college bowl season.

The final polls will be released on December 17.

The BOXTOROW HBCU FCS coaches poll and media poll are administered by FROM THE PRESS BOX TO PRESS ROW.  The coaches poll is voted on by the HBCU Football Championship Subdivision coaches and the media poll is voted on by media members around the country who cover HBCU football.
