There were just a handful of games played in Week 13 and the results of some of the games caused slight shifts in both the BOXTOROW Coaches and Media Polls.

In the coaches poll, North Carolina A&T, Alcorn State and Southern continued to hold down the top three spots. Southern defeated Grambling to not only further solidify its No. 3 ranking, but also propel itself into the SWAC championship against host Alcorn State this Saturday. The Braves were idle this week. The Aggies were also idle this week, having already punched their ticket to the Celebration Bowl, which will determine the HBCU national champion.

In the media poll, Bowie State fell a spot, coming in at No. 4 after its loss to Valdosta State in the second round of the NCAA Division II playoffs.

The BOXTOROW HBCU FCS coaches poll and media poll are administered by FROM THE PRESS BOX TO PRESS ROW.  The coaches poll is voted on by the HBCU Football Championship Subdivision coaches and the media poll is voted on by media members around the country who cover HBCU football.
