As the college basketball season has come to a close, BOXTOROW releases its 10th annual Division II All-America teams.

Morehouse guard Tyrius Walker has been named BOXTOROW Division II Player of the Year.  Walker helped lead the Maroon Tigers to a 25-3 record and a berth in the NCAA Division II Tournament. He led the SIAC and was top 15 in the nation in scoring, averaging 22.8 points per game. He also added 5.4 rebounds per game, recorded 97 assists and 51 steals. He scored 20 or more points in a game 16 times, 30 or more points four times and scored a career high 47 points in a victory over Benedict on January 22.

Walker was selected BOXTOROW First Team All-America last year.

Claflin head coach Ricky Jackson was named BOXTOROW Coach of the Year.  Jackson led the Panthers to a 26-7 overall record, the Panthers’ first SIAC Tournament championship and to the semifinals of the NCAA South Regional.

BOXTOROW has administered the All-America teams since 2009.
