Averaged 27.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, shot 51 percent from the field (19-of-37) and shot 85 percent from the free throw line (17-of-20) in helping lead the Bears to a 2-0 record last week. In the Bears’s victory over North Carolina Central (3/4), he poured in a season high 30 points, grabbed six rebounds, shot 53 percent from the field and 86 percent from the free throw line.
Thomas is third in the MEAC in free throw percentage (.854). and is averaging 13.4 points per game. He is in his third season in the Bears’ program and was a first team All-Baltimore City performer at Mervo High School.
