It’s rare that a player is named HBCU National Player of the Week twice in a season, but this makes twice for Howard Quarterback Quinton Williams. Williams completed 23-of-33 passes (70 percent) for 277 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions, and rushed for another touchdown as Howard defeated the No. 1 team in HBCU football 50-20.

Williams has now thrown for 6,816 yards and 51 touchdowns and has rushed for another 14 touchdowns in his career, his number. Played a nearby Wise High School in Upper Marlboro, Md.
