HBCU POW: Isaiah Major

Recorded 12 tackles (11 solo) an interception, and a tackle for loss in the Rattlers’ 23-10 victory over Alabama State. With less than 4:00 remaining in the fourth quarter and the Hornets driving, Major returned the interception 40 yards for a touchdown, sealing the win for the Rattlers.

Major is a preseason HBCU All-American. He has 24 solo tackles on the season which is tied for ninth in FCS and first in the SWAC. Against FBS opponent USF (9/9), he recorded 11 tackles (9 solo), three tackles for loss and two sacks. This is his second year in the program. He transferred from Independence Community College (KS).
