All of the teams in both the HBCU Coaches and Media Polls remained the same, but there were some slight shifts in the polls, released Monday.
In the coaches poll, North Carolina Central, Florida A&M, Tennessee State, and Alcorn State all won and remained in the top four positions. Alabama A&M was the only team that lost, falling to Alabama State in the Magic City Classic, and fell five spots to No. 10.
In the media poll, the top six teams remained the same. Despite wins by No. 7 Fayetteville State and No. 10 Tuskegee each dropped a spot from last week.
The HBCU FCS coaches and HBCU media polls are administered by BOXTOROW. The coaches poll, in its 15th year is voted on by the HBCU Football Championship Subdivision coaches and the media poll, in its 17th year, is voted on by media members around the country who cover HBCU football.
