There weren’t a whole lot of changes near the top of HBCU football as the BOXTOROW Coaches and Media Polls that were released on Monday. The Tigers continue to be the unanimous selection in both polls

In the coaches poll, No. 2 Prairie View A&M and No. 3 Florida A&M both won and remained in those same spots. Losses by Norfolk State and Tennessee State enabled Alabama A&M to move up to the No. 4 spot. South Carolina State made the most significant jump, moving up three spots to No. 5.

In the media poll, Albany State moved up one spot to No. 5, while Fayetteville State jumped up three spots to No. 6. No. 8 South Carolina State reentered the poll and No. 10 Savannah State moved into the poll for the first time this year. Alcorn State dropped out of the poll for the first time in eight weeks.
