Tigers’ forward Romelle Mansel is HBCU National Player of the Week. He averaged 21.0 points, 10.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and shot 68 percent from the field (17-of-25) for the Tigers who went 2-0 last week. In the Tigers’ victory over rival Florida A&M (2/1), he scored a season-high 24 points on 10-of-14 shooting from the field and grabbed seven rebounds,

Mansel is averaging 7.9 points and 5.3 rebounds per game on the season, but in this last four games is averaging 18.8 points on 68 percent shooting from the field and 9.8 rebounds per game.
