Miles Golden Bears guard Rodney Battle is HBCU National Player of the Week. He averaged 16.7 points, 6.3 rebounds and shot 49 percent from the field in three wins on the Golden Bears’ win to the SIAC Tournament championship. In the semifinal win over Morehouse (3/3), Battle recorded a double double with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Battle was named tournament MVP.
