Langston guard AJ Rainey is HBCU National Player of the Week. He averaged 22/5 points, 3.5 assists, while shooting 68 percent from the field (15-22) and 73 percent from three point range (8-11). In the NAIA Tournament Sweet 16 victory over Southwestern College (Kan.), Rainey poured in 32 points on 11-of-14 shooting from the field and 7-of-8 shooting from three-point range. He also handed out three assists and grabbed three rebounds.

This is Henry’s second year at TSU after transferring from Hartford. The Houston native is averaging 12.7 points per game, up more than four points from last year.
