Carried the ball 24 times for 295 yards and four touchdowns as the Braves defeated Arkansas-Pine Bluff 38-21. He rushed for three straight touchdowns, including what turned out to be the game-winner, a 24-yard run with :36 remaining in the third quarter to give the Braves a 24-21 lead.

Howard is a transfer from Syracuse.
