HBCU National Player of the Week: Isaiah Freeman

Completed 16-of-27 passes for 298 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions and rushed for 20 yards and a touchdown as the Lions defeated Johnson C. Smith 29-28. He completed 2-of-4 passes for 48 yards on the Lions’ last drive in helping set up the game-winning field goal with no time on the clock to propel the Lions. He was responsible for all four Lions’ touchdowns and accumulated 318 yards of total offense.

Freeman is a true freshman and is tied for the lead in the CIAA in touchdown passes (6) and is third in passing yards (677).
