BOXTOROW’s HBCU Legends Series Returns

BOXTOROW is bringing back its HBCU Legends Series.  The series, which began in 2013, pays homage to former great athletes and coaches who played at HBCUs.

Each week, FROM THE PRESS BOX TO PRESS ROW w/ Donal Ware, will interview some of the all-time greats who attended a Historically Black College or University.

The Legend Series has consisted of interviews with legendary figures including George Williams, John Chaney, Bobby Dandridge, Earl “The Pearl” Monroe, Larry Little, Donnie Shell, John Stallworth and Ken Houston to name a few.

BOXTOROW’s interviews with HBCU legends over the years haven’t just been limited to the Legends Series.  Michael Strahan, the late Buck O’Neil, Lou Brock, Shack Harris, Jerry Rice, Everson Walls, Sam Jones, Willie Lanier, Doug Williams and many others.
