Takeaways from Week 7’s HBCU FCS Coaches Poll:

  • North Carolina Central and Florida A&M remain No. 1 and No. 2, respectively
  • Alcorn State has won three-straight, including 17-15 at Grambling on Saturday and moves up four spots to No. 5 this week
  • Tennessee State climbed in the poll for the third consecutive week and has its highest ranking this year at No. 3
  • No. 8 Southern and No. 10 Alabama State reenter the poll
  • Grambling and Morgan State dropped out of the poll
