Former Grambling star Chester Rogers went undrafted in 2016. He signed as a free agent with the Indianapolis Colts and was a long shot to make the roster where the Colts were deep at wide receiver.
Rogers put the work in and made the 53-man roster to open the season. In year one, he showed some signs of breaking through, playing in 14 games and starting two, where he caught 19 passes for 273 yards, averaging 14.4 yards per receptions.
Despite missing the first six games this year due to injury, Rogers already has 20 receptions for 226 yards and a touchdown. He had a breakout game against Steelers on November 12 catching six passes for 104 yards and his first career touchdown.
Rogers sat down with BOXTOROW host Donal Ware and to talk about his time at Grambling and his career in the National Football League.
