It’s been a whirlwind two years for former Tennessee State star Robert Covington who has been with four NBA teams in that time frame. He is currently with the Portland Trail Blazers, having been traded from the Houston Rockets on November 22, a month before the start of the season. Covington talked openly with Donal about being in demand, trying to fit in with his new team in a short time period and having to move from city to city, about NBA trade rumors, about what his time was like with James Harden and the Rockets, about helping to build a basketball facility at his alma mater and what he remembers most about his days at TSU.
