Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Joshua Williams on how he’s gotten better going against Patrick Mahomes in practice.
Former HBCU All-American and Fayetteville State star Joshua Williams made his first start of his NFL career start on October 16 against the Buffalo Bills, going against one of the best offenses and one of the best quarterbacks in the league in Josh Allen. While he was beat for two touchdowns in the game, Williams made some key tackles late in the game that kept the game close before the Chiefs fell. The rookie talked with Donal Ware about how he prepared for that first start, how going up against Patrick Mahomes in practice everyday makes him better, how that game enabled him to get his first interception the following week against San Francisco, and about his career at Fayetteville State.
