BOXTOROW Podcast: Chris Clemons

Campbell senior guard Chris Clemons is one of the best men’s basketball players in the country that you’ve never heard of. Last season he was fourth in Division I in scoring, averaging 24.9 points per game. In three years, he’s Campbell’s all-time leading scorer and is second in Big South Conference history. During the 2016-17 he was second in Division I in scoring (25.1 ppg). Twice, he has declared himself eligible for the NBA Draft, but ultimately returned to Campbell.

The college basketball season opens this week and if you haven’t seen him, play, you should (also Google his highlights). BOXTOROW host Donal Ware had a chance to sit down with him at Pope Convocation Center, home of the Camels, to talk with him about the upcoming season and his career at Campbell.
