BOXTOROW National Co-Players of the Week: Webster Filmore and Kameron Langley

North Carolina A&T Forward Webster Filmore
6-7, Junior, Charlotte, N.C.

Averaged 12.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, and shot 91 percent from the field in two victories for the Aggies against North Carolina Central last week. In Saturday’s 55-53 victory in the nationally televised night game on ESPNU, Webster was 5-of-6 from the field, grabbed four rebounds, had two steals, and scored four of the Aggies last five points including what amounted to the game-winning field goal with 1:46 remaining.

Filmore is averaging 14.4 minutes per game and is making the most of those minutes, shooting 66 percent from the field.

North Carolina A&T Guard Kameron Langley
6-2, Senior, High Point, N.C.

Averaged 11.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and 3.0 steals in two victories for the Aggies against North Carolina Central last week. In Saturday’s 55-53 victory in the nationally televised night game on ESPNU, Langley scored 12 points, grabbed nine rebounds, had three steals, and drew a critical charging foul call with 27 seconds remaining which helped to enable the Aggies to hold on to a one-point lead.

A first team BOXTOROW All-American during the 2019-20 season, Langley is eighth in the country in assists (6.6) and sixth in steals (2.7). He became the all-time leader in assists in MEAC history last year and has 766 assists in his career.
