Completed 23-of-28 passes for 395 yards, five touchdowns and no interceptions in the Bulldogs 52-17 victory over Virginia Union. He also had seven carries for 56 yards for a total of 451 yards of total offense.
Johnson came in as the backup quarterback to start the season, but due to injuries has played and exceled, completing 60 percent of his passes for 1,194 yards with 17 tuchdowns and just five interceptions, while rushing for 696 yards and eight touchdowns. His 236.3 yards of total offense per game is second in the CIAA.
