Morton had a record-breaking day  gaining 511 yards of total offense and six touchdowns as he set a single-game school record with 255 rushing yards, and tied a school record with four rushing touchdowns. He completed 16-of-24 passes for 256 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions as the Panthers defeated Arkansas-Pine Bluff 62-13. Morton leads the SWAC in passing yards (1,158), passing touchdowns (10) and total offense (316.4), where he is also ranked 10th in FCS.
