Carried the ball 12 times for 104 yards, averaging 8.7 yards per carry and scored the game-winning touchdown on a 15-yard run with 2:14 remaining to help propel the Wildcats to the 31-27 victory over Florida A&M in the Florida Classic. Washington also had three receptions for 26 yards.
For Washington, it was his third 100-yard rushing game of the season.
Thanks for keeping fans updated with whats going on with Black college football (HSBC’s). The other networks act as though these programs don’t even exist. Such hypocrisy when they are happy to mention the names of the likes Walter Payton, Jerry Rice. Doug Williams, Aneus Williams , etc ,etc etc. The early foundation of the Football Hall of Fame is HBCU athletes. The networks, NFL and sport castors could do a much better job of acknowledging what these Colleges and University and programs have meant to football on all levels.. Thank you.
