Completed 23-0f-30 passes for 353 yards with five touchdowns and no interceptions and added another 28 yards on five carries in the Spartans 63-26 victory over Elizabeth City State.

Carter’s five touchdown passes are a career high. He had previously thrown four touchdowns in a game three times, the last time against Howard (10-12-19). He is a former 5A Offensive Player of the Year in Virginia after leading Highland Springs to its second straight state championship.
