Averaged 19.7 points and 7.0 rebounds in three wins last week for the Panthers who won the SWAC Tournament championship. In the Panthers opening victory over Alcorn, Patterson paced the Panthers with 25 points, seven rebounds, two steals, and was 7-of-13 from the field.

Patterson was instrumental in helping lead the Panthers to their first SWAC Tournament championship since 1998. The Panthers will take on Fairleigh Dickinson. His 19.7 points per game was 6.3 points above his season average.
