BOXTOROW National Player of the Week: Camille Downs

Norfolk State Guard Camille Downs
5-10, Senior, Fredericksburg, Va.

Averaged 20.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 5.5 steals, 2.0 assists in two wins for the Spartans this week. In the victory over North Carolina Central (2/28), she recorded a double double, scoring 22 points and grabbing 10 rebounds to go along with six steals, and also made 8-of-15 field goals.

The two wins this week including the victory over at the time league-leading Howard, helped to propel the Spartans to a share of the MEAC regular season title. She leads the MEAC and is fourth in the nation in steals (3.5) and is fourth in the league in scoring (13.0).
