2017 was the first year that Erik Jones raced full-time on the NASCAR Monster Energy Drink Series. He secured 14 top 10 finishes and was named Rookie of the Year. This was his third NASCAR Rookie of the Year honor as in 2016 he won the award in the Xfinity Series and in 2015 on the Camping World Truck Series, the only driver in history to win all three in successive seasons.

Jones talked with BOXTOROW host Donal Ware about improving in 2017, the won that got away at Bristol and his thought on Sunday’s Daytona 500.
