Averaged 32 points, and 4.5 rebounds per game while shooting 49 percent from the field and 41 percent from three-point range in two games for the Bears last week. In the Bears’ double overtime victory over North Carolina Central (1/7), he scored a career high 40 points on 13-of-24 shooting and 11-of-13 from the free throw line while also grabbing seven rebounds. He scored 10 of his 40 points in overtime.

Hobbs is fifth in the MEAC in field goal percentage (.471) and is ninth in the conference in scoring (14.3). This is his third year in the MSU program after transferring from North Greenville
